Children return to Christian parents after being taken into state care

From Christian Concern

A family court in Germany has decided that the children of Christian couple Dirk and Petra Wunderlich can be taken out of state care and returned home to their parents.

They had been taken away by police and social workers because they were being homeschooled.

Our reporter Peter Wooding was in Germany to cover the story. Watch his report here >

At the end of August a ‘Task Force’ of 20 police and social workers raided the Wunderlich home and took the four children (aged 7-14) away by force.

Andrea Minichiello Williams, CEO of Christian Legal Centre, was also in Germany this week to discuss with other lawyers what can be done to stop the worrying trend of state intrusion.

She commented: “The action of the German authorities is state intrusion of the worst kind. This kind of intrusion is becoming a pan-European problem and it’s being manifested in different ways in different jurisdictions.
